Plant Controller/Demand Planner SOF Nordic
The Plant Controller/Demand planner(PC/DP approx. 70/30 split) works closely together with the Country Manager and Plant Manager to ensure the financial result of the plant as well as the sales and logistical team to ensure optimal logistical planning vs production facilities. You will as a controller on a daily basis analyse financial and production results and propose actions that needs to be taken in order to secure long term results. You will have regular contact and support by the Belgian controller team as well the plant manager in Tyresö. You lead the budget process and ensures that the transfer prices are up to date according to actual costs. Part of your job will be to prepare and present presentations of your analyses to the local plant management team and also to the financial team in Belgium. You will be part of the local Plant Management team & report to Country Manager.
As part of the plant management team, you also hold the responsibility for demand planning & challenging the input you receive from sales. Based on that sales forecast, you create a replenishment strategy both from the local plant as from the group. You optimize our stock levels, stock at risk and logistical costs.
Key responsibilities
- Plant Controller:
- Lead the yearly budget process
- Analyze and present the daily/weekly/monthly plant financial result to local management and Corporate Controller team and suggest & execute improvements
- Manage the CAPEX process from start to end
- Own and manage the transfer price process for Annas
- Identify cost drivers and ensure long term cost improvements
- Benchmarking of Tyresö plant against other plants in the Lotus group
- Price simulations and calculations for new product developments
- S&OP / Logistics:
- Within the total S&OP process, responsible for demand planning & challenging, deciding on replenishment strategy, sourcing from both the local plant as plants from the group, optimizing logistical costs and stock levels
- Manage stock at risk process
Experience and specific knowledge
- Experience from a similar controller position working in a production environment.
- Master degree within economics or industrial engineering
- High proficiency in MS Excel, experience from using SAP and MS Office
- Fluent in Swedish and English
