An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the fastest growing healthy snack company in the UK for a Grocery National Account Exec, supporting the Senior National Account Manager on primarily Sainsbury’s and Ocado. This role will report to the Senior National Account Manager with the scope to develop into a National Account Manager in the next 18-24 months. You will support the Grocery team to deliver the annual plans to budget and be key in ensuring the plans once agreed happen both at head office and in store.

Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend the majority of your time:

  • Assisting on Grocery accounts on a day-to-day basis, to include supporting with new line listings, delivering the promotional plan, working with supply chain on ensuring all ranged stores have stock, highlighting and addressing gaps, ensuring all products are correctly positioned and tagged online, forecasting, EPOS & Invoice tracking with the use of retailer systems (Connect, Together With, SkuTrak) and on-going promotional review.
  • You will work cross functionally with our supply and operations team on customer forecasts and with our category team and shopper marketing teams on range and distribution and display and feature.
  • You will attend meetings with the SNAM where appropriate and build a network of key contacts within the account base from supply chain, formats, merchandising, promotional planning, admin and the buyer. You will be expected to get out to store on a regular basis to ensure activity is happening and to review the competitor set.
  • You will also work with the account lead and category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products.
  • Your role will be key in supporting the Grocery team in delivering the annual plans.
  • Working with a small team you will work across all business functions, operations, finance, marketing, customer service and NPD to deliver key Grocery targets.

You’ll report into and work closely with one of our Grocery Senior National Account Managers.

To help us to achieve our continual growth plans we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to work withing our Grocery sales team.

  • Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship)
  • Minimum Education to Bachelors Degree level
  • 2 years Account Management Experience dealing with FMCG buyers in either a Field Sales Executive role or Regional Account Manager. This may also suit a junior trade marketing exec looking to get some experience in sales.
  • Results orientated and able to deliver account/channel targets
  • Numerate, understanding of P&L’s and margins with good attention to detail
  • Strong selling skills to win/influence buyers and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for health and well-being
  • Strong team player

Please note this role is a full-time position at our beautiful offices in St Albans, with four days a week spent on-site. Please only proceed if this works for you.
