We have an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Artworker to join our in-house Creative Studio on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will be dedicated solely to the BEAR brand - one of our globally successful brands within the Lotus Natural Foods portfolio.
You’ll play a key part in supporting the global BEAR packaging redesign project, working across a wide range of products and packaging formats for multiple international markets.
This role is art working-led rather than conceptual design and requires someone highly organised, with a keen eye for detail, excellent typographic and layout skills, and strong technical knowledge of packaging artwork processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Artworking Packaging Files: Create, adapt and finalise packaging artwork for BEAR products across various formats and pack sizes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Global Market Roll-Outs: Localise packaging artwork for multiple international markets, carefully managing translations, legal requirements, and pack variations.
- File Management: Prepare artwork for print, adhering to brand guidelines and technical print specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the BEAR Global Brand Team, Design Team, Packaging Team and external production partners to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Quality Control: Diligently check and proof artwork, ensuring accuracy in typography, layout, legal information, and pack copy.
- Consistency & Brand Guardianship: Maintain the integrity of the BEAR brand through careful attention to detail and consistent application of the updated design system.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop essential). Experience with packaging artwork setup, print processes, and technical artwork requirements is a must.
- Experience: 4+ years in a packaging artwork role, ideally within FMCG, retail or agency environments. Experience working on global projects and with multiple SKUs a bonus.
- Detail-Obsessed: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong understanding of typography, layout, print production, and artwork technicalities.
- Collaborative & Proactive: Friendly, personable, and able to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Organised & Resilient: Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
