National Key Account Manager, CVS and Snack Chain

The NKA Manager, CVS & Snack Chain is responsible for developing and accelerating Lotus Bakeries’ business in China’s fast-growing Convenience Store (CVS) and Snack Chain channels.

You will be at the forefront of capturing growth opportunities within national operating CVS and Snack Chains, translating channel strategy into executable customer business plans, and building long-term partnerships through Joint Business Planning (JBP). CVS & Snack Chain are becoming a key engine for future offline expansion, and this role is critical to unlocking that potential.

This position plays a strategic role in strengthening brand presence, driving incremental volume, and ensuring consistent execution across regions in collaboration with regional sales teams and distributors.

The NKA Manager, CVS & Snack Chain reports direct to Sales Director of LBCN, who reports direct to the Country Manager China.

The NKA Manager, CVS & Snack Chain plays a crucial role in the further growth and development of the Lotus Biscoff brand in China. Based on the growth potential, it is expected that the team for these emerging channel will grow in line with the business development.

 

Strategic Planning & Business Leadership

You will be entrusted with the end-to-end strategic management and growth of China national CVS & Snack Chain accounts.

  • Own the development and execution of the annual business plan for CVS & Snack Chain.
  • Translate channel and company strategy into clear customer strategies and actionable initiatives.
  • Take full responsibility for achieving volume, N3, and Commercial Margin targets for the channel.
  • Identify and unlock incremental growth opportunities beyond base business (new formats, pilots, and innovations).

Portfolio, Assortment & Customer Solutions 

You will drive portfolio growth through strong customer collaboration and solution-oriented thinking.

  • Lead optimization of the  assortment, distribution, and visibility.
  • Build customer-specific solutions, including , promotional mechanics, and activation plans.
  • Champion consistent national execution.
  • Ultimately drive increased penetration, improved availability, and sustainable volume growth.

Key Account & Channel Management

You own and strengthen commercial relationships with prioritized national CVS and Snack Chain Store customers (e.g. Lawson, FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Snack Busy, Wanchen Group, etc.).

  • Act as the single national point of contact for assigned key accounts.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with customers to align on growth ambitions, execution priorities, and mutual value creation.
  • Manage direct supply customers and align distributors involved in indirect customers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and operational excellence.
  • Ensure flawless execution of customer business plans across regions.

Sales Planning, Forecasting & Execution

  • Own sales forecasting by customer, brand, and SKU.
  • Lead promotional and activity planning, tracking ROI and execution effectiveness.
  • Monitor actual performance versus forecast and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Excellent execution of ADVP (Assortment, Distribution, Visibility, Penetration) across the channel.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure end-to-end business success.

  • Partner with Marketing, Category Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and RSM teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Share best practices, insights, and learnings across the organization to continuously raise channel capability.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • You conduct regularly review channel and customer performance against financial and strategic targets.
  • You perform regular analyses of CVS and Snack Chain customer and distributor to track performance by daily / monthly /quarterly via various sales reports.
  • You will provide timely insights and recommend corrective actions to senior management to ensure all P&L objectives are met or exceeded.

Education (degree): University with a bachelor’s degree or above

Languages:

  • Native in Chinese.
  • Fluent in English; verbal and in reading/writing.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of solid sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven experience managing modern trade, CVS, snack stores, or chain retail customers.
  • Experience with national or regional key account management and Joint Business Planning.
  • Experience working with distributors in a complex, multi-regional setup.
