Category Development Analyst
The Category Development Analyst is integral to the strategic and operational success of Lotus brands, particularly Biscoff and BEAR, in the U.S. market. This role bridges data-driven insights with actionable strategies, directly supporting the Sales Team in achieving revenue and market share growth.
By leveraging data analytics, this role uncovers trends, identifies opportunities, and enhances decision-making processes. The ultimate goal of the role is to ensure that Lotus's products not only meet, but exceed consumer and retailer expectations, fueling sustainable growth.
Data Analytics & Insights

Deliver analytic insights across business domains, including consumer behavior, customer analytics, digital trends, market share, and performance drivers.

Leverage the use of data visualization to extract and communicate insights from data sources such as Nielsen and internal reporting platforms.

Conduct detailed reporting and consumption data analysis for BEAR across channels including Nielsen, Costco, Amazon, Target, and Kroger.

Support reporting processes to track market share, POS drivers and drags, price leadership, and volume forecasting.
Category & Commercial Strategy

Support category strategy reviews, translating insights into priorities for internal and customer-specific recommendations.

Provide SKU and assortment recommendations based on data trends, market gaps, and customer needs.
Business Reporting & Reviews

Create and deliver informative, detailed, and impactful business reviews for internal leadership.

Develop compelling presentations that leverage broad data sets to formulate actionable insights and growth strategies.
Revenue Growth Management

Support the Commercial Planning & Execution process through expertise in the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) platform, with a particular focus on TPM for BEAR.

Assist users in navigating and operating various modules, including Promo Planning & Analysis, Volume Forecasting, Pricing & Terms, and Claims Matching.
Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree

Previous experience in Category Management (3-5 years).

Proficiency in data tools such as Nielsen.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage overlapping projects and deadlines.

Exceptional communication skills, capable of storytelling with data to influence internal and external stakeholders.
