National Account Manager
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the management and development of selected customers across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade and Away From Home channels in the Czech Republic. The role ensures strong commercial execution, business growth and long-term value creation within assigned accounts.
The position is based in Prague and reports directly to the Country Manager CZ.
- Account Management
- Full commercial responsibility for assigned key customers (turnover, margins, promotional investments)
- Preparation and execution of annual Action Plans
- Leading trading negotiations and securing optimal commercial conditions
- Ensuring strong in-store presence and effective promotional execution
- Monitoring performance versus targets and implementing corrective actions
- Business Development
- Expanding distribution of existing portfolio and successful listing of new SKUs
- Identifying growth opportunities within assigned customers
- Supporting development of the Away From Home channel where relevant
- Operational Excellence
- Accurate forecasting and demand planning in cooperation with Planning and Customer Service teams
- Follow-up of orders, payments, claims and operational issues
- Ensuring correct implementation of trading agreements and promotional mechanics
- Market & Data Analysis
- Regular analysis of sell-in / sell-out data (Nielsen, IRI or similar sources)
- Monitoring competitive landscape and market trends
- Preparation of monthly performance reviews and internal reporting
- You hold a master degree in economics, international business or similar
- 3–6 years of experience in FMCG sales in Modern Trade ( hypermarkets, supermarkets)
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision making
- Ownership mentality and result orientation
- Ability to work independently within a small team structure
- Knowledge of MS Office required; SAP is an asset
- Experience in e-commerce or digital activation is a plus
- Fluent Czech and English (written and spoken)
