Planning and Logistics Manager

You will be responsible for demand planning and logistics and you will be in the lead of our Customer service team for the Italian Market. 
We have strong international brands Biscoff and Natural Food brands in a multi category and multi channel approach. We are a fast growing, dynamic, International company.

You are responsible for demand planning and logistics of the sales Office Italia. In the future, the customer service is part of your responsibilities.

Your main task will be demand planning and logistics. Your tasks include

  • Updating of forecast planning, in collaboration with sales and alignment with HQ Belgium
  • Improve the Italian forecasting system, integrating international guidelines in close collaboration with sales;
  • Placing production orders and managing stock levels
  • Tracking and communicating order status to Sales and/or Account Team
  • Arranging delivery & inbound transport for different product groups
  • Keeping contact with the warehouses to prevent and solve any possible shipment issue.
  • Negotiate contract with logistic service providers and manage the service level.

On the customer service side you will manage and coach the current team. Their tasks include order processing, invoicing and organising delivery. This is the main responsibility of the customer service assistants. Clearly both function as a team.

  • Booking, processing of incoming orders, issue of invoices & order confirmations
  • Independent maintenance, accounting and documentation of condition agreements
  • Gathering of all relevant information, issuing of shipping documents and subsequent sharing with Customers and Partners involved.
  • Maintenance of customer master data/hierarchies, prices and conditions in SAP

 

As the role combines the demand planning with the customer service part this role is a  key role in the implementation and co-ordination of the commercial office operation in Italy.

Experience:

  • You have min. 5 years of working  experience in demand planning or supply chain recommended.
  • You have a first experience as people manager
  • SAP experience recommended as this forms the main system for the customer service role.

Language:

  • Italian  
  • English for alignment with HQ Belgium
