Customer Service Assistant

Then check out this job opening! For our Italian Sales Office, located in the city center of Milano, we are looking for a Customer Service Assistant, reporting to the Planning & Logistics Manager.
Get ready to take charge of the following responsibilities in our supply chain team in Italy:
- Act as focal point for customers and local commercial teams, ensuring a timely, proactive and effective approach to supply chain issues
- Book and process incoming orders & order confirmations; monitor and update customers regarding order status
- Be the SPOC for 3PL logistic partners
- Maintain contact with the warehouses to prevent and solve any possible shipment issue
- Co-ordinate inbound transport from Lotus factories to Italy, manage stock and replenishment
- Manage customer complaints and billing issues and assist in credit control & finance administration
- Manage the Lotus Italy consumer careline & mail
- Manage ad hoc administration duties for the Italian team
Do you recognize yourself in the following profile? This is what you need:
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Bachelor level education
- Min 2 years of experience in a customer service/ logistics role
- Solid knowledge of logistics processes
- Experience on EDI implementation project would be a plus
- Experience in an FMCG company is strongly recommended
- Solid knowledge of SAP for order-to-cash processes (supporting customer operations)
- Good organization & coordination skills, friendly and open personality
- Punctuality, attention to detail, and affinity with numbers
- Strong pro-active and customer-centric mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
