R&D Product Specialist
Are you passionate about food innovation and product development? As an R&D Product Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing products and processes within your area of expertise. You will lead and support complex projects, generate knowledge, and contribute to creating delicious products. If you have a strong scientific background and a hands-on approach, this role is perfect for you!
- Act as the key expert and point of contact for product and process development, focusing on raw materials, equipment processability, product-process interactions, and ingredient research.

Manage technical specifications, optimize raw material and equipment interactions, and ensure knowledge is effectively shared across teams.

Lead and support complex projects, including new product and process developments as well as optimizations.

Advise and support R&D teams by providing technical insights on raw materials, process interactions, and product performance, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Procurement to ensure seamless communication and alignment with stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, we believe you should have:
- A Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Bioengineering (Chemistry), or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in R&D, with a strong focus on product and raw material development.

A scientific mindset with hands-on experience in fundamental research, including experimental setups.

In-depth knowledge of food chemistry, food physics, and analytical problem-solving.

A creative and structured approach, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Fluency in English. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

Willingness to travel (internationally) on a regular basis, as our factories are located globally.
