Combining finance expertise with data analytics & automation capabilities, you help create a reliable, scalable and increasingly automated finance information landscape.

• Collecting, validating, structuring and analysing financial and operational data from multiple sources, you develop and maintain finance data models and dashboards
• You support the functional ownership and continuous improvement of Group Finance Systems, including consolidation, reporting, planning and disclosure solutions.
• You identify, assess and implement automation opportunities in finance processes, reports and controls.
• With appropriate validation, documentation, access controls and human oversight, you develop and support responsible AI use cases for Group Finance.
• Working with ICT or external partners on solution design, testing, deployment and support, you translate finance requirements into clear functional specifications.
• You promote data quality, standard definitions, master-data discipline and effective governance across the Group Finance reporting landscape, while supporting users through documentation, training and structured change management.
• This role reports into the Group Finance Transformation & Technology Manager and is based in our HQ in Lembeke.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

• A solid academic background with a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, Business Engineering or another relevant field, topped with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance analytics, finance systems, business intelligence or controlling.
• Practical experience with data analysis, data modeling, dashboards and data visualization, including the understanding of automation concepts, low-code solutions and workflow design.
• Awareness of generative AI and machine-learning use cases, including responsible-use principles.
• A very strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and a structured, accurate and attentive approach to data quality and control requirements.
