Global Packaging Manager
As our Global Packaging Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end development, governance and optimization of all packaging-related processes across Lotus Bakeries’ global brands (Biscoff & Natural Foods).
- Reporting to the Global Brand Directors of both brands, you lead a team of 10 packaging specialists, ensuring that packaging pipelines run efficiently across markets and functions.
- One of your goals is to future-proof packaging processes while driving structural cost-efficiencies and strengthen collaborations with internal and external partners.
- You coach and lead the team to manage smooth processes of packaging requests and briefs, safeguard the consistency with brand and packaging guidelines and ensure optimal handover between packaging, prepress and production.
- You standardise and optimise the global processess, drive improvements, support automation initiatives and build clarity on global versus local responsibilities.
- Acting as a key link between Marketing, R&D, Quality, Design, Pre-press and Packaging, you facilitate alignment meetings, project steering and market coordination, while building strong relationships with external agencies.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- A strong academic background with a Master’s degree in economics of commercial engineering, giving you the theoretical and analytical base to take on the responsibility in this role.
- A valid and strong experience of about 8 to 10 years in a similar role, having focused on marketing or packaging in a multi-national fMCG environment.
- Extended experience in both people and project management, being able to guide a team through change and growth, while delivering complex projects, including multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, priority management and market alignment.
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in a highly complex multi-market environment with both a short and long-term result focus.
- Fluency in English
