BI Application Analyst

The number of data objects processed by Lotus Bakeries employees is growing rapidly, and there is a pressing need for reporting tools to support decision-making processes. As a BI Application Analyst, you collaborate closely with business stakeholders, becoming their go-to person for technical and reporting needs. You enhance and maintain reporting capabilities across various locations, leveraging existing data warehouse and dashboarding capabilities such as SAP BW on HANA and SAC, while also exploring new functionalities with data engineering technology.

• As a BI Application Analyst, you serve as a key player in the Lotus Bakeries application team, focusing on the implementation, development, support, and optimization of data warehouse and dashboard reporting.
• Address growing business needs by supporting decision-making through reporting tools, leveraging SAP BW on HANA, SAC, and exploring data lakes and data engineering technologies.
• You are responsible for resolving incidents and implementing changes, ensuring a seamless translation between technical solutions and business needs.
• Actively contribute to Business Intelligence projects and SAP roll-out initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with business requirements across various locations (e.g., roll-out of the Thailand plant)
• You have the opportunity to create and roll out new reporting functionalities that directly address business challenges.
• As you grow into a BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) expert, both functionally and technically, you’ll be empowered to fully leverage SAP best practices and support the key users.

• You have at least 2 years of experience as a SAP BI analyst/developer
• Proven development skills in ABAP coding, SQL, ETL setup and/or SAP HANA Development
• You excel in teamwork and open communication, always going the extra mile while staying independent.
• You are flexible and with a natural drive to continuously improve processes and way of working
• As our sales offices and manufacturing facilities are located worldwide, this role provides the opportunity for occasional travel, typically driven by individual project needs.
