The Commercial Business Controller is a key finance role within our organization where you contribute to all finance related activities of Area NL. The Commercial Business Controller plays an important role in driving the Business Performance cycle (weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews) and business cases, to safeguard our profitability, and to assess Risks & Opportunities versus our financial targets. You are responsible for delivering correct, complete and timely commercial financial results, including concrete and actionable (financial) insights based on a solid analysis. You are the key contact for Corporate Controlling & External auditors on commercial results. 

• As a Commercial Controller you have the ability to make a true business connection with the commercial departments.
• To enhance finance driven decision making within our organization and to improve the commercial performance of our organization.
• You are the key contact point for outcomes S&OP forecasts. You translate these forecasts into full commercial results.
• The Commercial Business Controller is chariman of Commercial Team Steerco.
• The Commercial Controller Reports to the Financial Director, who is part of the Management Team. 
• You supervise and coach the junior controller, who will support in all required reporting and data requirements.
• The controller is further responsible for the correct reporting of our SG&A costs. 

• You have a University degree (WO in Dutch) in finance or business economics
• At least 5 years or more work experience as a finance professional
• At least 3 years of experience within a FMCG Company
• Good knowledge and skills of SAP (both FI and COPA) and corresponding BI tools. Good skills in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good skills in both Dutch and English is required, in both speaking as writing
• Strong communication skills are required
