Technical Team Leader
As a Technical Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient technical operation of our machines and installations. Leading a team of skilled technicians, you will oversee troubleshooting activities, support the execution of the maintenance plan, and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
In addition, you will actively contribute to enhancing maintenance team performance, support improvement initiatives and CAPEX projects, and drive continuous advancements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency across the organization. Supervision & Coordination

Lead and supervise a multi-shift team of technicians.

Oversee daily activities and ensure KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity are met.

Manage start-ups, changeovers, and shift planning, including backup arrangements.

Ensure routine tasks are completed correctly and on time.

Handle technician scheduling and approve overtime.

Provide regular 1:1 feedback and build a high-performance team culture.

Support the Technical Manager as needed.
Training & Development

Create and execute training plans for new technicians.

Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team capability.

Develop and maintain the training matrix and training programs.
Machine Operation & Maintenance

Monitor machine performance and intervene to prevent disruptions.

Escalate technical or quality issues when required.

Perform troubleshooting and technical interventions.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions.
-
Collaborate on preventive maintenance planning and improvement initiatives.

Optimize maintenance methods, processes, and resource usage.
Safety & Reporting

Ensure completion of safety inspections and documentation.
-
Enforce safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture.

Report and support investigations of near misses, incidents, and non-conformities.
Quality Control

Ensure inspection tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Identify and report product or material non-conformities and support root cause analysis.
Communication & Collaboration

Maintain clear communication with operators and technicians across shifts.

Collaborate with operations to resolve issues promptly.

Report daily shift performance and propose improvements.
-
Document employee behavior or customer-related issues when necessary.
Education (degree):
• Bachelors’ Degree of Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering
Specific knowledge:
- Familiarity with FDA requirements and regulations.
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering and utilities.
- Basic math skills
- Intermediate computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience:
- Experience with leading and motivating a maintenance team in a food factory or FMCG
- Working experience in an FDA regulated environment will be advantageous
- Experience with standards such as FSSC22000, IFS or BRC is a plus
- Experience with inspections and/or quality control
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience with team and people management.
Language:
• Proficient in Thai; excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
