Shift Technician
To support our new factory in Chonburi, Thailand, we're looking for passionate and skilled Mechanical and Electrical Technicians. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our machines and installations, troubleshooting issues, executing maintenance plans, and driving technical improvements. Maintenance and Problem Solving:
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Perform hands-on machine troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Schedule and coordinate work orders to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and collaborate with suppliers.
Changeovers of Machinery:
- Collaborate with operators and technicians for machinery changeovers.
- Follow strict procedures to minimize setup time and inspect final products.
Projects and New Installations:
- Participate in the installation, testing, and validation of new equipment.
- Assist third-party contractors and ensure quality checks on completed jobs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Propose improvements for equipment efficiency and reduced changeover times.
- Contribute to achieving maintenance KPIs and implementing safety and quality upgrades.
Quality & Food Safety:
- Manage calibrations and inspections for HACCP compliance.
- Report unsafe situations and ensure the safe use of machines.
- Maintain cleanliness in technical rooms and adhere to necessary Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and safety rules & standards.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have the following:
- A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Technical education in Mechanics, Electricity, Pneumatics, or Automation (preferred).
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
- Fluency in Thai and basic knowledge of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems (Siemens or Allen Bradley).
- Experience in field technical roles, RCA, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, planning, scheduling, or supervisory roles (advantageous).
- Background in food processing or production equipment maintenance.
- Excellent technical knowledge and analytical skills.
- Strong hands-on problem-solving abilities with a focus on production.
- Ability to work independently and organize work effectively.
- Strong communication skills, goal-oriented, and empathetic.
- A team player who contributes positively to collaborative efforts.
