Kick-start your engineering career with an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects at Lotus Bakeries Factory in Thailand. As a Junior Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of projects across multiple workstreams, including product commercialization (CVS), factory CAPEX improvements, and brownfield expansion initiatives.

This role offers hands-on experience in project execution while developing strong engineering expertise, project management capability, and commercial awareness through close collaboration with experienced project leaders and cross-functional teams. You will work in a dynamic environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

This role reports directly to the Strategic Project Manager and offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Global Supplier Team, R&D, Procurement, Engineering, factory operations, and local suppliers/third-party partners. Together, you will drive projects to successful completion while ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. 

Provides Safe Products and a Safe Workplace

• Apply Lotus quality and food safety standards in production facilities.
• Promote and follow Quality & Safety Standards to protect people, products, and assets.
• Ensure compliance with Lotus and local safety standards, escalating risks when required.
• Implement facility and workplace standards in line with security and regulatory requirements.
• Support risk assessment and change management processes for all projects.

Efficiently Converts Raw Materials into Finished Goods

• Support the execution of capital projects, including resource and timeline planning.
• Coordinate contractors and third-party resources while managing project risks.
• Support sustainability initiatives focused on energy reduction and renewable energy usage.
• Assist CVS activities through validation runs, data collection, and commercialization support.

Optimizes the Supply Chain

• Support site master planning activities.
• Assist in project business cases and approval processes.
• Work with Procurement and suppliers to improve capital purchasing and manage risks.
• Support the protection of Lotus intellectual property with external partners.
• Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and training activities.
• Support Marketing and R&D during product transitions from Lembeke to Chon Buri.

Analyses and Improves Performance

• Support project budget control and engineering expense management within approved guidelines.
• Monitor project KPIs and identify improvement opportunities with the Engineering team.
• Assist with technical reviews of drawings, specifications, and vendor submissions.
• Support financial tracking, SAP purchase orders, and forecast reporting.
• Provide data and technical support for ROI analysis and investment proposals.

Education (degree):
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Business Administration, or Project Management is an advantage

Specific knowledge:
• Microsoft Office 365 — Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint

Experience:
1.Solid experience (minimal 1-3 years) as a Junior/Young Project Engineer or Management trainee background is also welcome.
2.Experience working in an International environment
3.Work experience in a start-up company/phase and/or project management experience is a plus.
