For our company in Thailand we are looking for a BOI Manager. In this role you are a member of the Finance Team and act as a trusted partner for the Manufacturing Team in our new factory in Chonburi, Thailand. You have exposure to the business in a growing, multinational setting, requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders across the Group.

• You are the first point of contact within the company for BOI related matters with the strong relationship with the relevant people of BOI (and EEC if applicable)
• You implement and maintain all priviledge and licenses which are available with BOI and ensure the timely submission of BOI applications of any relevant projects to enjoy relevant priviledges. Also, keep up to date the latest BOI regulation for all priviledges.
• You advise internal key stakeholders on customs technical data, tariff classification and applicable duty & tax rate of all kind of materials, machineries and ensure company procedures, process and all related activities compliance with the custom and BOI regulation
• Ensure all BOI reporting is timely done and submitted to all key stakeholders (both internal and external) as regular basis.
• Ensure adequate procedures and (project) controls are in place to ensure that all reporting for the purpose of BOI/ECC/IBC is done in line with the requirements as set by the relevant authorities.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

• You have a University degree, Bachelor with a relevant Master Degree combined with minimum 7 years of experience in dealing with BOI and all BOI reporting/ compliance process.
• You have experience in an International Business Environment
• You are strong communicator both internal and external.
• You are analytical, fact based, solution thinker and creative (how can we make things happen)
• You are hands on mentality, decision maker, can manage short and long term. Understand broader business picture with an eye of detail.
