Group Treasury Analyst
The Lotus Bakeries Group has two treasury centres: one in Belgium (LBC) and one in Switzerland (LBIS). In line with the Group's strategic vision to further centralise and strengthen treasury expertise, an increasing share of treasury activities is being transferred to LBIS. To support this evolution and accelerate the transformation and digitalisation of the treasury function, we are looking for a Group Treasury Analyst based in Switzerland.
Reporting to the Group Director Treasury & Risk Management, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the further development of our treasury organisation and to support strategic decision-making across the Group.
As part of the Treasury & Risk Management Team, you will :
- Play a key role in the treasury transformation journey.
- Support the Group's liquidity, funding and cash management strategy.
- Ensure an accurate execution and monitoring of day-to-day and monthly international treasury operations.
- Provide analytical insights and forward-looking recommendations on treasury-related topics.
- Act as a trusted business partner.
The role focuses on three key areas:
1. Treasury transformation & Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation:
- Supporting the implementation of the TMS, helping to translate treasury processes into a robust and scalable treasury platform (implementation starting in Q1 2027).
- Leading the migration and standardization of treasury activities.
- Contributing to the implementation of a central payment hub.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and ensure high standards of data quality and process excellence.
- Building in-depth expertise in the TMS and act as a key user.
2. Day-to-day treasury operations:
- Coordinating and managing KYC and banking documentation requirements, ensuring timely and compliant interactions with financial institutions.
- Supporting the opening and maintenance of bank accounts.
- Providing regular Group-wide cash visibility through the preparation and analysis of cash position.
- Monitoring intercompany positions and preparing intercompany reporting to improve settlement efficiency and minimise foreign exchange exposure across the Group.
- Supporting day-to-day treasury activities and contributing to the smooth execution of treasury operations.
3. Monthly treasury reporting, analysis & closing activities:
- Preparing monthly reporting on external and intercompany financing positions.
- Calculating and communicating external and intercompany interest charges to the G/L accountants.
- Analysing treasury-related financial results at Group level.
- Preparing and monitoring short- and medium long-term cash flow forecasts to support liquidity and funding decisions.
- Acting as a key contact for treasury-related matters during half-year and year-end audits with the external audit.
To succeed in this role you should:
- Have a Master degree in Accounting or Economics.
- Have experience in working with a Treasury Management System, implementation know-how is a plus.
- Have 2-5 years of relevant experience in an international environment: treasury department, banking or consulting.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, understanding the direct financial impact of treasury activities, and are able to work autonomously.
- Be eager to learn, continuously develop your expertise and embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Take ownership, show initiative and proactively drive actions and improvements.

- Be a finance professional who builds strong relationships and delivers a high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
- Have expert knowledge and experience in Excel.
