Finance Controller ID Biscoff
We are looking for a Financial Controller in the Finance & Supply Chain team of International Distributors Biscoff®.
You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager ID & Lotus Bakeries International und Schweiz AG and be part of our International Distributor Biscoff® team located in Baar.
Our International Distributors (ID) team focuses on increasing worldwide Biscoff sales. In 45+ countries distributors grow the international presence of Biscoff®, focusing on excellence in sales, marketing, forecasting and supply chain. Our Swiss office was established a few years ago and has quickly become one of the fastest growing and important global offices from where this Biscoff growth is managed.
We are looking for a smart, detailed, hands-on, flexible and financial-minded team player, used to work in a fast-paced environment and with a talent for multi-tasking.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial statements in close collaboration with the accounting shared services center in Belgium. The Lotus Bakeries sales offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia, you will manage with external accounting partners.
- You will monthly analyze & report on the different entities and management reporting levels within the business. This will serve as input for FP&A processes, forecasting and budgeting.
- You will be responsible to enforce compliance with the local statutory & fiscal regulations for the entities within scope of Area International Distributors.
- You will have to manage the cash balance & payments for the overseas entities.
- You will be responsible for Credit Management of Area International Distributors, making sure the customer balances are clean, this knowledge you also will use to support the Treasury team in the group wide Credit Insurance framework.
- You will take the lead in the audit process for Area International Distributors, making sure that the area comply & all processes are maintained correctly.
- You will take the lead in designing and implementing new commercial and logistic flows with the ICT department aligning on the business needs & making sure the flows comply with all regulations.
- You will have the opportunity to enlarge your skill set in a commercial environment & the possibility to take steps into commercial controlling.
- You will be working together in a team with a Business controller and a Demand Planner & Supply Chain controller, reporting all into the Finance Manager.
You will be working together with our finance & supply chain team, Group Accounting Center & corporate finance team to achieve the above mentioned role.
- A Master’s degree in Applied Economics or Commercial Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive audit and financial reporting experience, preferably with a focus on Audit or Corporate Finance.
- Your accounting background combined with strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and topped with pro-active thinking and acting.
- Knowledge of reporting and controlling with enhanced skills in MS Excel & SAP.
- Enhanced stakeholder management both internal (Group Accounting Center, Corporate Finance,…) as external (Accounting & tax advisory partners)
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
