Account Manager Natural Foods
As Account Manager, your mission is to support and stimulate the growth of Natural Foods through commercial partners in selected focus markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a joint business plan for your countries and define the optimal Route-to-Market strategy (in cooperation with local commercial partner). Implementing our repeatable activation model in order to drive rotations in our key outlets.
- Bringing your existing commercial partners to a new level by translating in-depth knowledge (market dynamics, competitive set, etc) into a strategy to further grow the business locally.
- Analyzing market data (Nielsen/sell-out data from retailers) of relevant categories in order to build effective customer selling stories.
- Using insights from other markets to help and supporting our commercial partner in making and excellently executing sales and marketing plans.
- Conducting business reviews with partners frequently and following up regularly.
- Defining the optimal pricing of our products in your countries, based on pricing guidelines, on value chain proposal and competitive set.
- Developing insights in your markets by following up the business in depth through a KPI dashboard and an in-depth analysis of the performance of the products.
- Maping the assortment to find optimizations and if clear opportunities, making an internal business case to launch potential new products in your markets.
- Reporting to the Global Sales Manager Natural Foods.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- A Master degree in economics, sales, marketing,…
- Combined an academic background with +/- 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Category Management in FMCG.
- A knowledge/experience of international business would be appreciated.
- Ideally some experience with Healthy Snacking products. Affinity is an absolute must.
- Strong inter-cultural intelligence - you easily get things done amid high level of empathy of other cultures, religions, values etc.
- Strong analytical capabilities and are strong in following-up.
- An energetic, result driven and detail-oriented mindset with focus on the execution.
- An entrepreneurial spirit (start from scratch) and are ambitious (top sport mentality, continuously raise the bar setting new stretching targets & creating new opportunities).
- An absolute team player attitude, but also work independently (self-starting ability).
- An owner (entrepreneur) thinking with pragmatism and sense of urgency.
- Fluency in English, both written & speaking.
- A willingness to travel up to 30% of your time.
